Peter Wright denk dat hij vanavond de grote kanshebber is voor de titel in de Unibet Premier League. Vanavond worden de Play-Offs gespeeld in Coventry.
Wright zal samen met Glen Durrant, Nathan Aspinall en Gary Anderson uitkomen in de laatste ronde van de uitgerekte Premier League.
De wereldkampioen miste in 2017 nog zeven pijlen voor de Premier League titel, maar denkt deze fout nu niet meer te maken.
WRIGHT: "The form I'm in I think I should be favourite, to be fair.
I feel really good and I haven't got to play the best two best players in the world at the moment, in my opinion, in Michael [van Gerwen] and Gerwyn [Price].
No disrespect to the other guys but I'm lucky those two aren't in it. I'm looking forward to getting out there and picking up the trophy.
I said from the start 'if I qualify I'll win it'. I said the same about reaching the World Championship final.
I've made mistakes in the past in these big finals but I showed in the World Championship final I've learned from my mistakes, so I won't be missing seven darts for the title this time!"
