De Professional Darts Corporation en Butlin's hebben hun samenwerking uitgebreid tot in 2023. De UK Open en Players Championship Finals zullen tot tenminste 2023 in Minehead worden gehouden.
De nieuwe deal zorgt ervoor dat de locatie in Somerset nu voor meer dan tien jaar de thuislocatie is voor PDC-toernooien. In 2013 werden hier de Players Championship Finals en een European Tour toernooi gehouden, de UK Open volgde in 2014.
Butlin's Minehead Resort is ook enorm populair bij de fans. De weekendpassen waarbij je een accommodatie hebt en toegang tot zes sessies darts worden vaak verkocht.

Een uitverkochte Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals zal de terugkeer van de PDC naar Minehead vieren. 64 PDC-spelers zullen het van 26 t/m 28 november tegen elkaar opnemen.
