De twee-voudig wereldkampioen staat vierde in de League voorafgaand aan week 9, waar hij Robert Thornton tegenkomt. Thornton staat op het punt van afvallen.
Met vijf overwinningen tot nu, staat Lewis ver bovenaan in de League en maakt hiermee dus een grote kans op een plaats in de Play-Offs voor de pas de derde keer in negen pogingen.
De runner-up van 2011 zegt dat hij de halve finales vaak mist loopt, omdat bij hem niet goed te voorspellen is in wat voor vorm hij het podium op zal stappen.
LEWIS: ''Everybody's saying I'm inconsistent, but if you look at the results I've only lost to the top three in the world, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Phil Taylor,"
"I'm fourth in the table and I haven't lost to anybody below me. I played alright against Michael van Gerwen and maybe I deserved a draw there, but against Phil I was awful. Apart from that my form's pretty good.''
"Hopefully in the second half of the season I'll show my true colours and come through. My scoring's been half-decent all the way through the league but I've missed doubles at times and had some silly shots, but last week I finished well.''
"I'm looking forward to making that top four and then doing some damage in the semis and final.''
